Just had an awesome call with Josie!

Would you like to talk to a Mommy? Wanna tell her what you want first?

Just had an awesome call with Josie!

Post by Little Stinky Britches »

It has been a few years since I have talked to Mommy Josie, and I had forgotten what a pleasure it was to do a call with her. :D

She's great at "Baby-Talking" and cooing. :D

Josie is an awesome Mommy, who gives 100% on a call.

I really enjoyed her mothering and babying of me. :D

Here is her latest blog,

Josie, you are an awesome Mommy! :D

OK, just had another GREAT CALL WITH MOMMY JOSIE!! :D

Now we are batting 2 for 2 with zero strikeouts.

I sometimes feel so guilty praising the mommies I have great calls with, but you just "click" with certain mommies, and when a call is so awesome, I just want to tell the world about it. :D

I have had awesome calls over the years (over 6 years now) with Josie, Lizabeth, Sara, Rebecca, Lily, Maggy Janey, Stacie, and Jenna. (Just to name a few.)

In fact, 6 years ago, my very first call was with Janey, and she made a great first-time impression. She was the reason I came back to Phone-A-Mommy over and over again, trying new mommies and seeing if something "clicked" with others. A lot of mommies are great, but you don't "click" with them, and that's OK, because there is no shortage of great mommies here.

Thank you again Josie, you made my week. :D

Josie, here is a gift just for you! :D

I know how much you love "oldies", so here is a RARE clip from a rare movie. The film is called, "Orchestra Wives" from 1942, featuring Glen Miller, (yes, the big band leader) and Jackie Gleason, a young Caesar Romero (who later in the 1960s played "the Joker" on the TV show Batman).

The song is, "I've got a Gal in Kalamazoo".

And this clip really rocks. :D
Here it is:

Enjoy a little 1942 bliss Josie. :D

Thanks for being such a great mommy! :D

Oh my goodness Marty, you are just the sweetest baby!!! Thank you so much, great video! I REALLY enjoy your stories and I look forward to reading all your back posts on your blog. I have gotten to read a few and they are great.

I love the details in your stories. It really takes the reader right there. Like you can imagine being in that car with Beulah (what a GREAT name BTW). I truly enjoy our time together Marty and look forward to another great story.

Your mother must have really been a great woman and wonderful mom to have raised such a good boy Marty. And I very much appreciate her too.

Thank you so much Josie!

You are one of the sweetest Mommies! :D

I am very greatful for having you as a Mommy and your kind words. :D

Yes, I love my mom and her name. :D

Because I was one of 4 kids....

and because there were always moms and babies at our house....

and because mom had an in-home daycare....

Her name, "Beulah" was associated with lots of poopy diapers.

I can't begin to tell you how many time I heard,

"Beulah, I smell something."

"Beulah, he needs his pants changed."

"Beulah, have you checked her britches?"

"Beulah, is he just tooting?"

Yeah, I remember that a lot in the 1960s.

Thank you so much Josie. :D

heehee, I can just imagine what your household must have been like back then. A wonderful place for sure. What a woman, 4 children of her own AND running an in home day care. You know I often think I was born at the wrong time. I SHOULD have been born in the late 50's early 60's. I just love those times. Altho I am partial to the 80's too.
