Going to open a 20 year old package of pink Luvs diapers

July 4th is coming up, and that's when I bought a few packages of the pink plastic backed Luvs diapers for girls in 1994.

This was when I would drive to another town so as not to be seen by anyone I knew.

I figure after 20 years, and learning how to use elastic mattress cover straps (just like the ends of the straps on garter belts--heh heh) to wear an XXL sized bay diaper, it's going to be time soon to open the last package of this particular type of diapers.

I'm looking forward to it, and I may post on youtube me opening the package. OK. So you would only see my hands against a neutral background opening the package.

I have other plastic-backed diapers from long ago, but these are special, and 20 years is a long time.

No one all that excited about a pink plastic diaper. One of the ultimates in naughty punishment. I'm guessing most are okay with the horrid cloth-like covers now. And no blue for boys, and pink for girls. That's difficult to explain since why many love pink plastic panties though. Pink plastic diapers, pink plastic panties. Yeah, there's a difference, but pink plastic it is for me.
Oh well.

I had a nice Fourth of July. I hope you all did too.

Sorry pinkluvs15, I'm from the 1950s "Cloth Diaper Era", which was a time of Curity Flat-Fold Cloth Diapers with "pinked" edges (they were cut like a zig-zag) Rubber Pants, or Plastic Pants, Diaper Pins, Wooden Playpens, Wooden Cribs, and 1950s Highchairs which were shiny metal with vinyl seats.

And oh yes, Wet Washcloths for poopy bottoms!

I vividly remember the early 1960s, when my Mother always had me go and get her a wet washcloth from the bathroom so she could change a poopy diaper. My Mother always wiped poopy baby bottoms with wet washcloths back then. ("baby wipes" had not been invented yet.)

So yeah, I'm from a different era, so I don't get interested in disposable diapers or plastic diapers. We just had different experences.

I was born in the late 1960s, and my mom used mostly cloth diapers and plastic pants on me. She did use Pampers too for convenience.
I love my cloth diapers and plastic pants, but I also love Pampers. Nice and crinkly plastic-backed diapers. I had the best of both worlds

Pinkluvs you did have the best of both worlds didn't you? That crinkly feeling of Pampers and then the soft, cuddly feeling of cloth......

You're right, I had the best of both worlds. I loved when my mom would pin a diaper on me, and then slip the plastic panties over my diaper. And then once in a while, I got Pampers. Those were great too!
It's no wonder I took so long to potty train. I loved my diapers and being diapered! Good thing my mom didn't mind to have a late "potty-trainer"
She was so nice and caring. Yay mom!

Aww, it is always so nice to hear when mommies let their babies do what they love most...

In this case, wearing diapers! How could anyone not be understanding to their sweet babies wanting to wear those soft, warm diapers all of the time? Besides, when you have a baby who goes potty in their diapers, you get to change them! And that is one of the best parts about being a mommy! Glad that you had a good time opening up your special diapers! I am sure you are going to have a lot of fun with them! Hehe
