Hello right back to you

Post by pinkluvs »

You're all the way over on the Atlantic Canadian coast? Wow! That's a ways off from where I am on the California part of the Eastern Pacific coast. I'll bet it's starting to get a bit chilly over where you are!

Life is good over here. Fall is in the air, and the nights are getting cooler. Time to look for the blankets for bed.

A warm hello to you, and I hope all is well.

Hiya David.

Hi David,

Nice to meet you! Just try to keep some of that cold weather up there this winter, okay?

Last time I was in Canada it was in July - loved it! (Can you tell I try to avoid cold weather? I was in Chicago once in January and have never been back. LOL)

Craig
and I hate to think of all the fun I would have missed if I actually had stopped wetting the bed - like hanging out at fun sites like this one!

Sup Craig,

yes, canada is known for being cold, and canadians living in igloos. but from time to time it is actually very decent. if you ever go to BC. its paradise weather. its actually one of the worlds biggest attractions.

hope to talk to you soon, i have to go fight a polar bear for my dinner.

lol.

Hi David,

LOL

When I was in Canada last it was great - spent two weeks in Ontario provincial parks during the summer. And I've heard that BC is terrific year-around.

Funny how as I get older I get less impressed with cold weather. Maybe in ten years the Caribbean will seem too cold???

"yes, canada is known for being cold, and canadians living in igloos."

I'm surprised at you babyblue26. Maybe the thought of fighting the polar had you shaken up a bit, but you forgot to mention the vast collection of tuqes the average Canadian has, and that they play hockey just about all the time.

Now us Californians can't be stereotyped. We all live at the beach, have a major earthquake almost every day, have great tans, own at least 5 surfboards, the weather is always perfect, and the word "dude" is a major component of our speech pattern.

It's true. Every word!

not everyone in canada likes hockey, let alone plays it. i certainly cant stand it. however, i have the same birthday as Wayne Gretzky. moreover, i love cold weather. hot weather completely shuts me down. i cant eat, sleep or think. ive been to cali twice. i have family there. its a very nice place to be sure. but i could never live there even if i wanted to.
and thankfully, i actually dont fit into any canadian stereotype. cause im just that unique. :D

enjoy your earthquakes, and i shall enjoy living in the arctic.lol

Aren't we all

Post by pinkluvs »

Yep. We're all unique. You're absolutely right about it. I just find it funny that people automatically stereotype people depending on where they come from. Us Californians really do take pride in our earthquakes though!
Many people have the craziest misconceptions about Californians as they do Canadians, New Yorkers, Texans, Hawaiians, etc.

By the way, I absolutely LOVE cold weather. :D Hot weather makes my brain stop working, and that's no lie! :(

This is no doubt due to my Scandinavian heritage.
