I love your poem Sara! 
I feel like it's Christmas Time already!
You know Sara, your poem made me think back to the 1960s...
"10 diapers soaking"?
When I was a little kid, dirty, poopy cloth diapers were soaked, or "dunked" in the toliet.... AND... they were soaked in the diaper pail.
Anyone remember that?
Also..... "12 daddies retching"?
LOL!
Again, when I was a little kid, I noticed a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the way men reacted to poopy diapers and the way women reacted to poopy diapers.
I remember many times there would be lot's of people over at our house. Sooner or later, one of the infants or toddlers would dirty their pants in our living room. When the smell reached everyone, the men would act like they were going to throw-up, and they would even get upset, because they wanted to watch TV, and now the room smelled like poop. And many of them would leave the room!
The women on the other hand, would smile, sniff the air, and act as if it was no big deal to 1. smell, 2. check, and 3. change a dirty, poopy diaper.
Of course there were women in the room who wrinkled-up their noses, waved their hands under their noses, and tried to shoo-away the smell, but at NO POINT did they act like the men. Most of the woman in the room were not bothered by the smell of a poopy diaper, and some in fact, (I remember this clearly) even seemed pleased by the earthy, pungent aroma.
Anyway Sara, you are sooooo right about 12 daddies retching!
