Playpen
Playpen - A playpen is a place for babies to
play and be close to their caretakers while
being safe inside. They are square in shape
and just tall enough so that baby can be
placed in and cared for. Usually the sides
are made of mesh with a harder plastic
covered border to it. Playpens are easy to
clean with the bottoms being plastic and
can be wiped down quickly if baby has a spill.
Some caretakers also use them for older babies
to nap in. Most playpens fold up for easy storage.
There is room in the playpen for baby and a few
of their favorite toys. Sometimes there is also
room for two or three babies to play together,
just brining in less toys.
