Cloth backed or Plastic backed diapers?

Hi everybody!
So I've been doing some research on different brands of diapers and I've started to notice that some say "plastic backed" and some say "cloth backed" and while i kind of understand the differences, i still don't really understand how they are supposed to be "better then the other".
Can anyone tell me all the differences of these types of diapers?
Both factually speaking and also from an opinionated point of view, which do you think is better, cloth or plastic backed diapers?

I like plastic backs so they crinkle lol what about you?

I like plastic backed diapers the most but I will wear either

i like both really but i like sound of the crinkle of the plastic ones

That's all based or personal preference. It all depends on what keeps you in the baby mindset the most!

I have to say that I like the cloth ones, however, the plastic backed with the crinkly noise is the best for mommy to hear.

I would have to say my preference is definitely the plastic, the noise and the feel can not be matched.
