Have you guys seen this movie by Michael Moore?

I just got it from my Library, and it is shocking to say the least.

In this film, a Congressman (and a Congresswoman from Ohio) are both asked point-blank on camera, if the U.S. Gov. has been taken over by large, multi-national corporations.

Their answer? Yes.

Quote: "There's been a coup d'etat in this country, and we (congress) are no longer in charge anymore."

A Coup d'etat?

Not in charge anymore?

Our elected representives have been replaced by un-elected CEO's of large multi-national corporations?

This really makes my blood boil!

Of course, I already knew or at suspected this, but to actually hear 2 members of Congress admit that they take orders, not from us, but from the corporations that have bought them, is shocking. :x

Anyway see this movie for yourself, and there is another one called "The Corporation" that is even a better movie.

Here are the links to both films:

Yes, I went and seen it in the theaters, I love Michael Moore and his docs. It is actually available for instant on Netflix. It is shocking to say the least. I had recently wrote to State and Government officials over the oil spill, and suggested that the banks and car dealerships offer extensions on car notes and payments so that those affected don’t have to lose their homes or sell in a declining market, let them show their Patriotism and bail us out. Since bankruptcies, foreclosures, and empty homes and repos will only continue to devastate the economy with its trickling ripple effect! No one has responded to my suggestion, but I’m still fighting the good fight or attempting to LOL
