That depends upon how long you have been taking it, the dosage, and how often you take it. Hillbilly Heroine is hard to quit sweetie. The best thing for you to do is check yourself into some sort of drug treatment program. And if the person is giving you drugs and knows you are addicted, then he's an enabler, and you really do not need to see him/her again after you kick it, and remember only 25% of people who go into a drug treatment program kick it their first time around. But I have all the faith in the world that you can do it hun.

I really hate to be a party pooper here. (Well, I am a pooper, that's for sure.)
But here are some facts to consider.....
Fact #1. Law Enforcement Officers visit this site EVERY DAY looking for pedephiles or child porn.
Fact # 2. Even though cops are trolling for child molesters and kiddie porn, the word, OXYCONTIN will certainly get their attention.
Fact #3. In many states, posession or distrabution of Oxycontin is a Class 4, or Class 5 felony, with anywhere from 5 to 10 years in prison.
Fact #4. After reading a post like this, it is VERY easy to get a search warrent from a judge to (A) locate the IP address of the person who made the post, and (B) to search the residence of the person who wrote such a post and ask them detailed questions about their "friend" who gives them Oxycontin.
Now, in light of these 4 facts that I have just laid out, I must ask....
Is is logical or rational to have such a disscusion on this site?
Is is prudent to have such a disscusion?
Are you willing to risk your freedom just to disscuss (with strangers) your "addiction" to Oxycontin?
Just some facts to consider.
Life is short, stay awake for it.

I agree with Marty, this is not the site for such a discussion. You need to seek help for your problem.

He is asking for help, so he can discuss this here if he wishes. Maybe he feels like he has no place else to go, and if they were to read this thread they would see he is seeking help, not trying to get us to buy them.
Dude, you need to get some help hun. Sometimes will power isn't enough, I used to be addicted to alcohol, I don't touch the stuff anymore like I used to, because I know if I drink too much, I won't be able to stop once I start, so I just have a drink here and there. I have been addicted to drugs too, at the time I thought it was great, I loved each high I got, until one day when I was sober I looked at myself in the mirror and saw what I really looked like, and to be honest I looked like sh*t and I was shocked. It was hard, but I got help.
If you ever need to talk dude, IM me. I will talk with you for a few minutes.
I wish you luck.
Much love your way,
Stacie

well if he has a real problem then I have no issue with him reaching out for help, and I would hope he would google or call a help hotline as well so he can get the proper help he needs.
But I just am not sure whats going on with him, You are 19? You are disabled? You spend all your money on porn? your best friend thinks you slept with his gf? you want to know if you should beat him up? you are thinking of selling bootlegged dvds for money to call us? you have a drug problem? Am I correct so far?
If so, You have many issues and you need to seek help. I wish you luck. Please seek help there are help hotlines located in your county and nationally so please call them. Or if your 19 and in college I think you stated you were, then go to the student services department. There are many rescources out there dont give up. And as Stacie stated Im sure she can stear you in the right direction.
