I recenlty got to spend sometime with my family and we played games all weekend long. Card games, Mad Gab, Monoploy, and Scrabble. I love games, whats everyone elses ole time favorites ?

I love all sorts of games but for the last 10 yrs or so my family has been playing scatagories and taboo. You can actually try scatagories without the actual board game. All you need is paper and pen and a timer. Put the letters of the alphabet in a bowl. next you need to have a set of 12 questions.

1. Song Tittle
2. things you shout
3. Parts of the body
4. Ethnic foods
5. things you replace

and so on. once you have 12 questions have someone pick a letter from the bowl and start your timer. Say the letter is S, you now have 4 min to come upp with as many answers as you can. The idea is to come up with answers that are not common because if 2 or more people get the same answer you get no points. You can play the game on line but you play solo...the best part of this game is when the timer goes off and you go around and get everyones answers. I'm with you Becca - my family is always big on games - playing all sorts of card games is usually the norm. One of my favorites is called "BANG!" and it's a hoot! I love it when you have a bunch of people playing, and we all get rowdy! Bang! Bang Bang! Bang Bang Bang!!

Wow I love to play Candy Land, chutes and ladders and Uno...but the other day we sat down and played a good game of Yatzee...which wow is so much fun...spending time with family and just enjoying a nice board game is so much fun and the time just seems to fly by...Josie...

When I'm with a big group, I love Cranium! It's a culmination of all the best party games, plus a few more! It's charades, trivia, Win, Lose or Draw, and spelling (frontwards and backwards)!

Mommy Crissy, I absolutely love playing Cranium, our family loves to play that together. I love that acting one the most. I also love to play the game Scattergories which is a lot of fun. We used to always play Monopoly a lot when we are kids but that game takes forever so after awhile got tired of playing that one. It's not really a game but another thing I love to make are puzzles, I can sit down for hours and just work on a puzzle, for some reason it is relaxing for me.
