I wonder what my mother would say if she knew I called another woman Mommy??

I'm thinking that she might be a tad upset about that, and deciding that some punishment might be what you need to remember just who your Mommy is...

I meant YOU are my Mommy, and if I told my birth-mother about you. You know you are my one and only Mommy, Mommy Brenda!

Well, not sure about that one, since I don't know your biological mother. She might feel a little odd about that as well! Might even come down to you having to choose!

One time a co-worker asked me out on a date and I initially said yes, but then Mommy Brenda helped me understand that I wasn't ready to start dating yet, that I was far too sensitive to be going out with girls. Mommy is going to tell me when she thinks I'm ready to go on dates.

And the best part was I didn't even have to break off the date--I just gave Mommy the girl's contact information, and she took care of everything! Isn't she the best??

You shouldn't have to handle and stress out over difficult things like that, dear Basil. That is when I will most definitely step in to take that off your shoulders!

And dating is super stressful, isn't it? That's why I'm so lucky to have Mommy Brenda looking out for me and keeping all that stress and burden far away from little Basil!

In 2023 it's okay to have more than one mommy. Some Mommies will be happy for the support, others will not want to share their baby's love.

The key is to communicate, be open & make sure you ask your Mommy.

It sure is nice to know that having more than one Mommy is okay! Having the support of more Mommies is something to be celebrated. You know what else is worth celebrating? The connection I feel with you. I just had to take a moment and share with you how much I appreciate you, and our conversation. ♥
