Yep. I'm thinking of going to Hawaii. I'm thinking Kauai. Nice and peaceful. My mom recommends since she kinda grew up there. I just want a place that isn't so "touristy", and that be the place. Best way to get around is by mountain bike.

Anyway, there is some pretty cheap airfare round trip from California.
$775, and not bad flying into Honolulu. I would need to catch a turbo-prop to Kauai.

Now the hotel reservations, well... Still working on it.
I'll need cotton diapers and plastic pants except for just out and about. No, my diapers won't be showing, but plastic pants in a tropical climate could give me a good case of diaper rash.
