Phone A Mommy

By now, most; if not all of you; are familiar with the name Trayvon Martin. He was the young man who was shot in Florida recently by a Town Watch person. What makes me the most angry about the whole thing, is his Mom wanting to trademark Trayvon's name. Essentially making money from the name of her dead son. Personally I think this is low, the whole situation is bad enough, without the parent trying to make a buck off of it.

What are your thoughts on this?

I agree I think its a terrible tragedy and the mother should focus on her family instead of what she can gain from the loss of her son way to soon.

Am not familiar with why his family wants to trademark his name. My hope is that is to cover the costs of Trayvon's funeral. Hopefully any money over that cost going to a foundation to help stop these kinds of tragedies happening again.
