Have you seen...?

I'm amazed. I was looking at ebay the other day, and old-style curity cloth diapers (the good old 21"X40" size) are selling for a small fortune.
You'd think that the diaper companies would get a clue, and bring them back.
If I had a do-over, I would have invested my paper-route money in diapers.
Way better than stocks it seems
That, and plastic-backed disposable diapers.
Oh well...

I love those old Curity diapers!
I remember the ones you are talking about, the ones with the "pinked" (ziz zag) edges?
I can recall a time in this country when nearly every backyard clothesline was full of those old-style Curity cloth diapers drying in the sun. Back then, it was normal for every family to have 4 to 5 kids, and it was not unusual to have 2 or even 3 kids in diapers at the same time.
One family we knew had newborn twins, and a 1 year-old, AND a 3 year-old all in diapers at the same time. I remember that lady was always washing and drying diapers!

You can make your own cloth diapers very easily. They are not that hard to make. And there are so many different types of fabric out there that you could use. You should try it and see if you can come up with something nice for yourself.

Hi All
I too love the old curity 21 x 40 diapers.
Nothing on earth was softer. I wore the last ones till they were more hole than cloth.
I have found that buying old flannel sheets at thrift stores is an inexpensive way to get cloth diaper material. You can even get some cute patterns.
There were some listings for some Chinese cotton diapers on Ebay a while back, claimed to be like Curity, but without the fold lines. I keep looking for them to list again.
Yes. Someone should remanufacture diapers to the original Curity specs. They were selling for about 200 dollars a dozen, buy it now price. Insane
Keep you powder Dry.

I have a pattern for fitted diapers like Pampers et all. The material is cheap, and I know how to sew. I sew my own panties since I can't find what I like anymore
I just completed a nice pair of nylon tricot pink bikini panties with lace and bows. They are very sexy over a diaper I think
I wish I could find a supplier of PVC vinyl to line the panties I sew. Smooth pink plastic would be great, but white would do as well.
Gotta keep on searching.

Hey Marty's Mommie. I too remember those days, and would even steal them along with plastic pants, and take them to my hideout in the woods
I know this was naughty, but I just couldn't resist. I remember diapering myself, and then pulling up the plastic pants. It was heaven! I was about 8 or 9 at the time. What wonderful memories!
