I was just watching the (unfortunately, as far as I know) cancelled CBS series "Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23" and one of the characters (June) said to another character (Chloe), "I am so sorry for trying to change you."

June was referring to trying to mold Chloe's personality so she could meet a, what she called "appropriate guy", but, with that phrasing, I couldn't help but picture June trying to diaper Chloe and Chloe giving June a hard time.

One other key word that always gets me thinking about the ABDL lifestyle is when people use the word "fussy" instead of "picky".

To me, the term "fussy" is used solely for when a baby, toddler or young child can't be calmed down. The term "picky" is used solely for when someone is particular about something.

I use the word "picky" whenever I'm stating that I am or am not particular about something, solely because I find those two words to mean two completely different things.

That's also why it internally bothers me a little when someone uses "fussy" instead of "picky" because my mind always shifts to the ABDL world.

I was getting caught up on the freshman CBS sitcom "The Crazy Ones" with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams and heard this exchange.

Sydney: I just don't want you to settle.
Andrew: What would you have me do instead?
Sydney: Go with your heart. Y'know, find someone that loves you for you, who doesn't wanna change you.

Sydney is played by Sarah Michelle Gellar...



Andrew is played by Hamish Linklater...
