I remember having quite an attraction to them to way back when my memory gets foggy at maybe before two years old. As time passed, I remember sometimes sitting in class, bored, but thinking of plastic pants, and soon, diapers too.
Going down the diaper aisle back in the 1970s and 1980s was so scary, but what a thrill! I knew after walking around the store, and of course right at opening time to minimize the chances of more people in the store, that I would walk down the diaper aisle and claim my prizes of a couple of three-packs of Gerber plastic pants. And yeah, I padded out my purchase, had an excuse that my cousin sent me with a list (I even made one), and would always seek out a check-out lady/girl.
I remember one time when the check-out lady ringing me up asked if I was sure the plastic pants were going to fit me. I just about had a heart attack on the spot. But after I got into the parking lot with my purchase, I felt incredibly turned on!
Then it was off to other stores to buy diapers, baby lotion, and baby powder. Never the same store for all I wanted.
Those were the days in my late teens and early 20s!
