Bottle or Breast

Which do you like the best.i would love to know how many like the breast-feeding and how many like bottle feeding.And why to both.

i like both. I guess if I had to pick I probably like breast feeding best because of the intimacy involved but I have to be very comfortable with that person to share that emotion and feeling with them.

I like breasts..oh wait..you meant like from an abie want to drink cuz I'm hungry stand point didn't you? in that case, I still like breasts.

Well from a mommy point of veiw, I love breast feeding. It is so intimate and such a loving gesture.

I agree with Josie, from the mommy and baby side of things. I love to breastfeed. I like to suck on a bottle to make me feel very babyish. But I love my mommy and I love how close breastfeeding makes me feel to her.

That's exactly why I prefer the bottle, Janey.

I know breast-feeding is obviously very babyish too but, just as an example, look at the Phoneamommy forums; you don't see breasts adorning the main page, do you?

Id think id take either, a bottle just says baby, but since ive never had the breast option i think id go for that, just because ive never had that option. but if mommy is doing the bottle feeding i think that is a very bonding experience.

Hi minnie

Well I definetly prefer the breast, but finding a partner who is actually lactating has as yet eluded me. So the bottle has been required to get some formula into my hungry tummy.

I did find a fun twist. novelty and gift stores sell a fake IV bottle designed to hold booze for your bar. Filling it with formula and hanging it near mommy the tube from it is taped with surgical tape to the top of mommy's breast so the tube goes into baby's mouth near the nipple.

There is a small clip included to control the flow rate. Now baby can feed at the breast and actually get something filling her tummy.

I am still looking for my first taste of real breast milk. A baby can dream can't she.

They also make something for mothers who want to simulate or supplement breast feeding. It is small doughnut shapped ring the gets filled with formula and is worn over the breast with the nipple sticking through and a small tube feeding from the center to the nipple area. It could even be worn inside a nursing bra to hide it. I am looking for a link to it, If I find it I will post the link.

You know, I have never had breast milk. I would love to try it. I think snuggling up to Mommy is nice, but one can do that while drinking from a bottle too - I have been rocked to sleep in a mommy's lap while being fed a warmed bottle of milk... one of my favorite remembered nights.

Honestly I am not that interested in big breasts. I am not sure why. :: Shrugs ::
