Ava, I was totaly blown away by your blog and it's graphics and illistrations.

It is sooooo cool, soooooo "retro"!

In fact, your blog looks like those old Norman Rockwell paintings: so sweet and innocent, and so wholesome. I LOVE IT!!!

I read a lot of mothering magazines from the 1940s and 1950's because they all have these wonderful ads and pictures of mommies and babies that are so wholesome and nurturing. Your beautiful blog looks a lot like those 1950s illistrations.

OMG Thank you so much for your kind words! Putting this blog together was so much fun for me. Each week I try and find something nostalgic to use. I especially love valentine cards from the 40's and 50's and 60's. I have found some great pics in the old my golden books, the little boy in my "Peek a Boo" blog was taken from one of those books. Thank you for noticing the whole retro feel You made my day!
