Any Experence With Exersaucers?

Post by babymarty »

From time to time, I visit "real" mommy web sites, where mothers gather to talk about their babies and the shared experences of motherhood. :D

One on of those sites, some moms were talking about Exersaucers, and one of them called her exersaucer, "The Poopy-Pants Machine."

These moms all seemed to agree that when they put their babies in exersaucers, the babies all make nice, full diapers for their mothers.

One mom said it was "gravity" that did it, while another mom said that it was the "bouncy" motion that her daughter made in the exersaucer that produced a poopy diaper.

Whatever the reason, these moms all agreed: Put a baby in an exersaucer, and in a few minutes, they will fill their pants. :D

One mom even said that she never uses laxatives or prunes when her baby is constapated, she just puts her baby in an exersaucer and within 20 minutes, her baby has pooped her pants, and filled her diaper full.

So I was wondering, I know that many of you have cared for "real" babies in "real life", and I was wondering if this has been your experence with exersaucers? :?:

Are exersaucers almost "magical" in that they get babies to produce nice full diapers? :?:

I did not have an exersaucer when I was a "real" baby. :(

But they look like wonderful things for babies to play in. Bright colors, pretty toys, things to chew on, and play with. :D

Oh how I wish I could be a 6 month-old baby! :D

Playing in an exersaucer, happy and content, and making poopy pants for my mommy!

So.. someone needs to make Exersaucers for 'big' babies? I think so. Then you could look like a 6 month old surrounded in bright colors bouncing happily.

That would be so awesome to have 'big baby' exersaucers. To answer your question Marty, I used to babysit a baby when I was in high school two years ago (I know, I know, sooooo long ago, heehee). And my experience is, yes these things do make babies magically poop their diappys. Every time, it never fails she would fill up her diapers after playing in her exersaucer. I always thought that it was the fact that she would be so relaxed and just busy playing that it was just easy for her to go. Thats funny that alot of other babies do that to.

Thanks for the responce Scarlet and Janey. :D

Yes Scarlet, I wish I could have a big baby Exersaucer, or somehow be regressed back to infancy.

And yes Janey, this seems to be a common experence amoung moms that I have talked to on other boards. 8)

I love the fact that some of these moms call their baby's Exersaucer, "The Poopy Pants Machine."

I wonder if other moms and daycare workers reading this post have had simmular "poopy-pants' experences with Exersaucers.

I'm a mommy. I do not have experience with exersaucers, but whenever my baby would crawl or jump around a lot, he would make a big ol poopie in his diaper.

Thanks for responding Lauren. :D

I think it must be the jumping/moving motion that brings on a poopy diaper.

Prunes help too!

Prunes, coconut oil, bananas, spicy food, flax seed,... I could go on and on with this list :-)
