ONE DAY I FOUND A NICKEL

One day I found a nickel
quite by accident.
It may be just a nickel
but it also was five cent

so I put it in my pocket
and continued on my way

I showed it to my mother
who looked it over good.
Imagine my suprise when she gave me another
and now I had two

so I put it in my pocket
and continued on my way

I showed them both to my dad
after he got home.
He said if you'll get the paper
I'll give you another one

so I put it in my pocket
and continued on my way

When I showed my neighbor
I could tell he was impressed.
he said If you will help me carry this package
I'll give you another five cent

so I put it in my pocket
and continued on my way

I went into my brothers room
after he got home.
He gave me another one
to just leave him alone.

so I put it in my pocket
and continued on my way

I went back to my room
and layed them on my desk
Boy was I suprised,
I no longer had a nickel, I had twenty-five cent.

so I put it in my pocket
and continued on my way
