Favorite powders, lotions for wearing diapers?
I just wanted to ask all those diaper lovers out there as well as any mommies what favorite diaper powders or lotions do you love to use? I would love to hear what you have to say on this one. The one that comes to mind for me is just Johnson's baby powder, besides diapers, that is the next thing I think about when being a baby. How about you?

For me, I love Johnson's Baby Powder ...
and Johnson's Creamy Baby Oil.
(Look left!
Check out my 1947 Johnson's Baby Powder Ad avatar!)
After a shower, I always put on both, to give me that fresh, sweet, clean baby smell. They both feel good on my skin, and smell good too.
The smell and feel of Johnson's Baby Powder and Johnson's Creamy Baby Oil on my skin, really helps me to regress back to infancy.
As the smell of baby powder and baby oil fills the room, my nursery, my mind wanders back 49 years to the time I was 6 months old. In my mind's eye, I see myself laying naked on the changing table, a plump, chubby 6 month old, with rolls of fat. My mother has just changed my poopy diaper, and lovingly cleaned my bottom. Now she rubs Johnson Baby Oil all over my body, paying special attention to my freshly cleaned plump baby bottom.
After I'm all "oiled up", my mother rolls me over on to my tummy, and starts to powder my bottom, smiling and cooing to me as sprinkles Johnson's Baby Powder all over my plump baby bottom. In pure, infantile plesure, I drool and suck on my fingers. cooing to my mother as she powders me. We coo back and forth to each other.... she's smiling at me.... I want this moment to last forever.
Then, my mother turns me over... lifts me by the ankles.... a soft cloth diaper is placed under me..... more baby powder..... then the diaper is pulled up between my chubby thighs..... two diaper pins.... "click".... "click".... Now comes the rubber pants.... I am now all powdered and diapered, and secure in my rubber baby panties.... it's time for my nap.
I've had a busy morning for a 6 month-old!
I had a big breakfast, Mommy started me on solid foods. Then she fed me a bottle, we played together, I soaked my diaper while we played, Mommy had her "suspicions" and felt inside my rubber panties, saying, "Uh, oh, I think somebody needs their pants changed."
Then Mommy changed my diaper on the floor, and we went back to playing. After a while, I felt an awful feeling in my tummy and stopped playing with Mommy. Then I tooted, and I started making those loud grunting sounds that Mommy likes to hear. Mommy smiled and asked me if I was, "busy filling my britches," then she pulled back my rubber pants and looked down the back of my diaper, confirming her suspicions.
Then, after I stopped grunting, Mommy pulled back my rubber pants and looked down the back of my diaper again, saying, "Shoooo-wee! Somebody really filled their britches this morning! Goodness Marty! You really did a big job in your pants! Shooooo!" Then Mommy changed my poopy diaper, smiling and cooing to me the whole time.
(By the way, my new avatar is an old ad from 1947 for Johnson's Baby Powder. Back in 1947, this ad appered in parent and baby magazines all over the U.S. It was a color drawing like Greber used in their famous "Gerber Baby" ads. I collect old baby/diaper ads from the 1940's and 1950's from Ivory Snow, Dreft, Gerber, and Johnson's. And this company, Johnson & Johnson has been powdering baby bottoms for a long, long, time.
