At the risk of sounding rude, I have a question, in responce to your question.... WTF??????? :?

Are you serious? :x

Let's just take a small, 10 minute call.... $22.40

Do you really think that is a "small fortune"?????

Just go into Barnes & Noble.... buy a new book.... $24.95 to $34.95

Buy a new CD, or DVD.... $18.95 to $29.95

Dinner and drinks at a nice place (like Bucca de Beppo, or even TGI Friday's).... $20.00 to $50.00 (per person)

Angel Hair Pasta $14.95
Glass of White Zinfandel $8.99
Mixed green salad $7.45
Total= $31.39 + 20% tip ($6.22)= Grand total of $37.61
(For a dinner you will poop out the next day. )

And you think a call with a mommy is spending a "small fortune"???

I guess it all depends upon what you put a VALUE on. For me, the chance to speak with a REAL, LIVE MOMMY, like Jenna, Elizabeth, Stacie, Janey, Scarlet, or all of the other wonderful mommies here is something I HIGHLY VALUE. :D

When I was a little boy, I used to hang out with mothers and their babies, just to listen to them "baby-talk" to their little ones, and watch them change diapers. I would have given anything..... anything.... to have them baby-talk directly to ME. So now, thanks to all of Madison's hard work, and the wonderful work of all the mommies here, I get to talk to a real, live mommy who understands me. :D

Is $22.40 for a 10 minute call really too much????

Or $29.95 for a 15 minute "upsell" call? Is that a "small fortune"???

For my money, these calls with loving, caring mommies, who baby-talk to me as I poop my pants in front of them, are a bargan! :!:

Sorry if I sound like I'm on a "soap box", but this question really rubbed me the wrong way. The mommies here work hard for their money, and not only do they deserve it, but when you compaire it to the cost of other things in life, it is a bargan anyway you look at it. 8)

One last thing, you will remember your call with a loving mommy, long after you have forgotten about your $37.61 dinner & drinks at TGI Friday's.

i honestly didnt think i was going to set anyone off. when i saw that it was $2 a minute, that immedialy made me think it was a lot. i dont necessarily think u needed to have a huge fit over a small question. a small calm response was all that was needed. if you disagree with my comment thats fine, but biting my head off, not so much. i understand that its a business and money needs to be made for a service, thats obvious. but compare that to how much a local call costs from a phone company. and u can see the difference. and i guess thats what i was thinking of at the time. also keep in mind that the cheaper things are the more you will sell. if it was $1 minute u are catering to those who have less to spend thu getting more calls, and making the same amount if not more. how many more times do you think u would call if it was half the price, probably 2 or 3 times more. so they wuold make equal or more than. right now, i cant afford the pricing. so i have to go without atm. so in terms of how much i can afford, this is expensive. it may not be to other people. so im sorry if i was generalizing, but not everyone can afford these calls. but as soon as i can, i will. regardless of the price. so again, im sorry if i upset you. it wasnt my intent.

A little explanation

Post by MommySue »

First I want to apologize for anyone on our forums who made you feel uncomfortable. On the other hand, Little Stinky Britches is right.

It's difficult to find real, genuine, caring people who are into the AB/DL lifestyle. The Mommies, Daddies, Sitters and Grannies here work very hard, but we mainly do it because we love our ABies and it brings us much personal satisfaction.

On the business end of things, you've got to try to understand that there are alot of costs associated with being a business. A residential phone bill might run $30 whereas just because this is a business, the phone company automatically charges 3 times that amount.

Then add in that this is an 800 # which doesn't cost you but it sure does cost the company for every single minute you're connected. Then there are the lovely ladies who take your phone call and make sure you get to YOUR Mommy of choice, they have to be paid too. And computer equipment, switchboards, office workers who take care of all the complicated paperwork, web hosting, the list goes on and on.

Your Mommy needs to cover her costs too so she can make your experience as the best she can. So as you can see there are alot expenses associated with just one phone call. If you look around, we're one of the more reasonably priced phone services.

Have you ever thought of coming into our free chat rooms? Or maybe a text chat which is cheaper? Or come to one of our Free Chat Room Slumber Parties on the 1st and 15th of the month for discounted rates on phone calls.

I'd love to see you in our chat getting to know everyone. Then when you can afford it, you'll have a pretty good idea of who your favorites might be. Hope to see you around the forums and chat rooms more often.

Kisses,
Mommy Sue
Come to the window,
My baby, with me,
And look at the stars
That shine on the sea!
