thunderstorms
what would mommies do to comfort their lil newborn babies if they are scared of thunder? just a curious question

well, first and foremost is cuddling and holding and giving sweet kisses on the top of their head. But also I would make it more of a game - explain that is just the angels in heaven bowling! And then trying to guess what they just bowled - a 7 10 split, a strike, a gutter ball! It takes the scariness out of it and passes the time quickly.
love,
Mommy Maggy

I love thunderstorms now, but when I was little...
I used to be terrified of thunderstorms when I was little. I would have loved to have someone hold me, and tell me it was okay.
Now, I love them. I love to watch the flash of lightning, and count to see how far away the storm is.

Hide under the covers with Mommy
When my boys were little they loved thunder and lightning and would run up to the windows to look outside and it would scare me so i would make them all get under the covers with me with a flashlight and a book and we would read scary books.

What a great mommy, mommy stella!
Gosh, I wish my mom did that for me. I certainly wouldn't have been scared
