Our Special Time

Come hop up on mommy Gina’s lap. I just love our special cuddle time we have together. My arms wrap around you, holding you close to my bosom, rocking you gently. I breathe in the perfume of your hair, kissing your head softly, placing my cheek atop of your tussle of hair. My eyes close as I start quietly humming a lullaby; you coo and snuggle down even more into my lap, my arms, your eyes growing heavier and heavier, lulled into such blissful contentment. The world outside simply melts away, time seems to be at a stand still, there is only you and me and our special time together… MommyGina 1-888-430-2010

Sometimes You Just Need Your Mommy

Awww, had a bad day? Was the boss on your back? Did the work keep piling up higher and higher? Was traffic a complete bear? I know how those days can be. Ya know, sometimes you just need your mommy. Someone to be a sounding board; to hold you and rock you, to coddle you and sing softly in your ear. Someone to make all the days worries just melt away. Mommy Gina knows. I’ll get you in a clean diapy, fill that belly with warm, sweet milk, hold you close, and rock you gently, making all the bad stuff of the day seem like a distant memory. Before you know it, you’ll be saying, “what bad day?” Mommy Gina 1-888-430-2010

Thunderstorm Delight!

That was some storm we had last night! All that thunder and lightning – it seemed to go on forever. You were so scared, but Mommy Gina new just what to do. I came into your room, and crawled under the covers with you. You snuggled up close to me, as I held you tight. But something surprising happened. At first you were embarressed about what “came up”, but I assured you that it was perfectly normal, and told you that I could teach you just what to do. Well, I won’t go into what happened next (or at least not here *wink*), but let’s just say that you were a very good student! I look forward to our next ‘tutoring session’! Mommy Gina 1-888-430-2010

Watching Mary Poppins with Baby

There is only one word that comes close to accurately describing the enchanting Mary Poppins, and that term was coined by the movie itself: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Julie Andrews won an Oscar as the world’s most magically idealized nanny (“practically perfect in every way,” and complete with lighter-than-air umbrella), and Dick Van Dyke is her clownishly charming beau, Bert the chimney sweep. The songs are also terrific, ranging from bright and cheery (“A Spoonful of Sugar”) to dark and cheery (the Oscar-winning “Chim Chim Cher-ee”) to touchingly melancholy (“Feed the Birds”). I just love snuggling up on the couch cuddling with baby and watching Mary Poppins. Good babies get special rewards and special Mommy time. *giggles* MMMMMM I can smell the pop corn in the air.
